Links News	OUR PURPOSE To keep green issues uppermost in the mind of the community at large in Tameside. OUR OBJECTIVES To inform the public through events / articles in local newspapers, etc., of environmental issues and correspond with Tameside Council where action is required. To work alongside, support and share information and best practice with other groups with similar aims and objectives. To establish a 'Green Pages' - a directory for the Tameside area to include social enterprises, green businesses, allotment facilities, local food suppliers, etc. To map, increase & improve the land, Green & Open Spaces and other environmental resources within Tameside. 	We do not only inherit the planet from our parents and grandparents, We borrow it from our children and grandchildren. The needs of future generations must rank equally with those now on earth . Yet the unborn do not vote, invest, nor demonstrate - Someone must speak for them!
